Norcross is located in Gwinnett County and is the only city in the county to have a district listed in the U.S. Register of Historic Places. The city is named for Jonathan Norcross who was the fourth mayor of the city of Atlanta and serves as the headquarters for several major companies. The city is just 20 miles northeast of Atlanta and is accessible by Interstate 285 and Interstate 85.
